Joco is an intelligent and adaptive conversational learning platform where users learn about the world's major transformations in 5-minute journeys. The challenge of the new site was to communicate the product in a simple and attractive way, using as the central concept the "cubes' dance" created for the new visual identity. Since the beginning of the project, we knew that implementing the animation of the cubes along the scroll would be a challenge and, in this sense, it took months of fine-tuning for the interaction to reach the desired level of fluidity.
The cubes' metaphor emerged to visually synthesize several concepts present in Joco's semantic universe. The journey that is personal, adaptive, evolutionary and in small portions was represented, both in the new identity and in the website, by the recombination of the cube's basic unit in different forms.
The particularity of the making of this project was a free work flow of the design team both with the client, since it was an internal product, and with the developer, since the success of the central concept was closely linked with the feasibility of implementation and further refinement of the animations in the code.
Besides that, since it was a standard showroom, the content and structure of the site did not require major inventions, so we chose to maintain a simplified architecture and combine all our efforts on the concept that would bring emotion to the experience
